अत्रिर्ऋषिः सोममविन्दज्ज्योतिष्मन्तं तमोहनम् ।
Atri the sage found Soma bright,
Dispelling darkness with radiant light,
He raised the chant in dharma’s rite,
Truth revealed in vision’s sight.
वसिष्ठो मित्रवरुणयोः पुत्र उर्वश्याः सुतः ।
Vashistha born of Mitra’s flame,
Varuna’s son of noble name,
Urvashi’s child in dharma’s frame,
Guiding kings in righteous aim.
कालात् कश्यपोऽजायत तस्मादग्निः समजायत ।
From Time was Kashyapa born anew,
From Time arose the sacred view,
Agni blazed with cosmic hue,
Creation’s seed in order true.
गौतमो राहुगणोऽग्निं स्तौति मन्त्रैः सुमधुरैः ।
Gautam Rahugana praised the flame,
With hymns resounding dharma’s name,
Agni shone in endless frame,
Bearing worlds in cosmic game.
जमदग्निरृषिरित्याहुश्चक्षुर्वै जमदग्निरृषिः ।
Jamadagni the seer they say,
The eye of truth in dharma’s way,
Through him the world perceives the day,
Wisdom shines without decay.
भरद्वाजो महातपाः गङ्गायां स्नानमाचरत् ।
Bharadwaj bathed in Ganga’s stream,
Austerity held in vision’s dream,
Ghritachi appeared with radiant gleam,
Celestial grace in dharma’s theme.
इति सप्तर्षिवन्दनम् ॥
Thus ends the praise of the Seven Seers,
Guardians of dharma through the years,
Their vision dispels all fears worldly,
Hari is the Om, the ultimate Truth truly.
