Mentioned across various Hindu scriptures, the Samudra Manthan’s true value lies in its profound representative symbolic outcome rather than its narrative variations. To move from the psychological to the spiritual is to shift from the "Self" to the "Divine." In this dimension, the Samudra Manthan is the journey of the soul (Jiva) toward liberation (Moksha).

When Fortune fled and gods grew weak,
A plan of power they had to seek;
Within the Vishnu Puran’s lore,
They churned the deep and ocean floor.

In Srimad Bhagwat Puran's holy page,
The battle does for nectar rage;
Eight chapters tell the tale so grand,
Of how the Lord saved every land.

The Mahabharat starts the tale,
Where strength, cunningness both prevail;
In Adi Parva, the wheel is spun,
Until the golden prize is won.

The Ramayan speaks of it too,
When Ram learned what gods can do;
The Bala Kanda tells this famed deed,
Of how the world from thirst was freed.

From mountain peak to serpent’s coil,
They shared the labour and the toil;
Fourteen gems rose from the blue,
For both the many and the few.

From primal breath and life’s first flame,
Through sorrow’s trial and purging shame;
Nourished, tempered, wisdom shown,
Toward bliss of oneness — the true home.
