Horoscopic Astrology by Maharishi Parashara

The stars align in heaven's height,
To guide the soul with sacred light;
Parashara's truth is wide and deep,
A promise that the heavens keep.

The twelvefold signs in order stand,
Like kingdoms in a celestial land;
Each Rashi holds a secret power,
To shape the person and the hour.

The Ninefold Grahas cast their ray,
To influence our mortal way;
Through Shadbala their strength we find,
To see the workings of the mind.

The Bhavas mark the worldly sphere,
Of wealth and health and silent fear;
The house of tenth shows work and fame,
To build a life and carve a name.

The Shodashvarga charts divide,
The truths that common visions hide;
For marriage, wealth, and spiritual gain,
They map the pleasure and the pain.

The Dasha cycles turn the wheel,
To show the fate that time will seal;
When Raja Yogas brightly bloom,
They lift the spirit from the gloom.
