Invocation

ऋषिभ्यः नमः सततं ज्ञानदीपप्रदीपकाय।
यैः श्रुतिर्मन्त्ररूपेण लोकहिताय संप्रदा॥
Salute to sages, ever bright—
Who lit the lamp of wisdom’s light;
Whose mantras shaped the Vedic lore,
To serve the world forevermore.

At the Feet of the Rishis

Not for fame, but for the flame—
Sanatan’s light, dharma’s name.
I’m but a scribe, a silent thread,
Translating truths the sages said.

From mantra’s depth to seeker’s gaze,
Their wisdom walks in rhythmic ways.
May quiet verse the soul ignite,
And lead it back to source and light.

Upon the banks of rivers grand,
The ancient rishis, a blessed band,
Received wisdom from a divine hand,
For all to share across the land.

From nature's whispers, clear and deep,
They learned the secrets it would keep,
And sowed the seeds of truths to reap,
As endless knowledge started to creep.

In Sanskrit chants, a sacred sound,
Their revelations could be found,
On scrolls of palm, their words were bound,
To bless the world with truth profound.

For health, for peace, for spirit's flight,
They penned the Vedas, pure and bright,
A guiding star in darkest night,
To lead all souls toward the light.

English rhyme Submission

In verses simple, with a rhythmic charm,
Munindra pens Dharma, of Sanatan arm.
Not word for word, but the spirit he captures,
In English rhymes, presents ancient scriptures.

Upanishads, Gitas and Purans unfold,
Tales of Goddesses, Gods, in rhymes bold.
Prayers, Neeti, Dohe, and Chalisa ring,
In simple verses that dance and sing.

No claim to fullness, just a guiding light,
An introduction to the spiritual height.
Sanskrit's depth, in English, can't fully bloom,
For words are many, without an English room.

Hidden meanings, depths in names reside,
In Misra's work, they're gently implied.
An overview, a map to treasure vast,
Pointing to texts where truth is held fast.

For seekers true, the message is clear,
Original texts, one must hold dear.
For deep meanings and wisdom's root,
Original scriptures are the absolute pursuit.
